Neeraj Pandey
Neeraj Pandey has written and directed the thriller A Wednesday (2008). It stars Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. A Wednesday got strong positive reviews and critical acclaims, particularly for its storyline. It also generated respectable box-office collections and was appreciated by the audiences. Neeraj was born and brought up in Kolkata but later moved to New Delhi, where he graduated in English.
He started his career making documentaries, short films and advertisements. Much of his learning was done with Legacy Entertainment, a company started by the Dalmia group to make television programs. In 2000, he moved to Mumbai, where he started making documentaries and ad films.
