Nethra Raghuraman is orginally from Vadodara in Gujarat India. In 1997 she took part in the Femina Miss India and she won the contest for Look of the Year. She also won an award for the Best Debut female at Star Screen Awards in 2000. Her acclaimed performances so far have been in Thakshak by Govind Nihalani and Bhopal Express by Mahesh Mathai.
