Prachi Desai aged 19 years is a TV actress most famous for her role as Bani in the Hindi television drama Kasamh Se. She was born in Gujarat. She did her early schooling from St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and later completed school at Surat in Gujarat. Currently Prachi and her mother live at Lokhandwala in Mumbai.
Recently Prachi made her entry into Bollywood in Rock On with Farhan Aktar. Farhan is a veteran director but is facing the camera as an actor for the first time. The film released on August 29, 2008 and did great business at the box-office.
Prachi's 2009 release is Life Partner.
