Actor-filmmaker Joginder dead
Actor-filmmaker-producer Joginder, who is still remembered for his title role in Ranga Khush, died at a hospital in Mumbai today after a brief illness. He was 65.
Very few know Joginder was a trained pilot and has even worked with late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi before he turned to acting.
Joginder was admitted to the Arogyanidhi Hospital at Juhu on June 1. He was suffering from kidney and liver problems. Joginder had acted in more than 100 films. Some of his prominent films included Elan-E-Jung, Mard, Tiranga, Hukumat and Agnikaal.
He had produced and directed 30 films. Among the films produced by him are Bindiya Aur Bandook, Do Chattane, Fauji and Yari Zindabad.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Actor Raza Murad and Kishore Bhanushali were present at his funeral held in Juhu.
