Sivaji completes 200 days on Jan 11
The excitement that surrounds Sivaji, simply refuses to die. One of the biggest blockbusters of 2007, the film completes 200 days on January 11,2008. And to commemorate the glorious occasion, AVM Productions has organised a grand function to be held at the Madras University. The chief guest for the evening will be Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Interestingly, Sivaji also happens to be the 100th Tamil film by Rajnikant in which the superstar teamed up with the director Shankar and music maestro AR Rahman.
The film had a stupendous run at theatres all over India and even abroad. It went on to become the first Tamil film to top the UK Top 10 charts, beating Hollywood films like Fantastic 4 and Ocean's 13.
As part of the celebrations, a short film on the making of Sivaji will be released which is sure to delight the audience. Also, the Sivaji team is planning to screen scenes that were chopped on the editing table.

The cast and crew of this film will be honoured with mementos at the event. AVM is also going to honour theatre owners who screened Sivaji.
