SRK: I should have got my Oscar long back
At the launch of Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan talked at length about the movie's international potential.
Given that the same studio, which backed Slumdog Millionaire, will distribute the movie, expectations are huge. "If the aim is to break into mainstream international markets, a studio like the Fox is our best bet. They can get us closest to the Oscars".
Shah Rukh said Indian screenplays would have to be scientifically tweaked in order to appeal to a Western audience. "When you interact with an alien culture, you have to understand the food they eat and the way they dress. Similarly our films too will have to adapt to cultures beyond the NRI market".
Khan said his new movie had several portions with English dialogue. And this would help break the language barrier with the audience.
On his own Oscar aspirations, SRK smiled, "I should have been given my Oscar 10 years ago".

beautiful and lavish sets arond him and the money spent to
make him look good on screen....
srk doesnt have looks nor can he act....He does roles that
does not suit him.....("om shanti om" which was an
entertainer just coz of the director )......Srk can never
get oscar...Cz he does not know how to deliver words.....He
is almost similar in all his films.......Same
expressions...Same style....Which is very very
artificial........
why do u all term him as "great"......Do u live

thats where all the awards are coming from too.........

oscars but as the best bad guy off screen
We know shahrukh that you deserved an oscar long back. But
that shouldn't stop you from doing more films. Oscar guys
will eventually have to come to you and grant you the award
as no one in bollywood deserves it more among the current
actors.

King khan rules... He's easily the biggest star of
bollywood. May he win an oscar too
We love you, king khan. With god's grace, you'll soon have
an oscar too. You already have most of the global honours in
your pocket. That too at such a young age. Stars like dilip
kumar never got them and amitabh got some of them but that
too when he was very old. You truly are god's gift!

there's no point in wasting your time with someone who has
a mind as small as the person who's been making some -ve
comments on srk out of sheer jealousy. It's clearly visible.
if even a di caprio can get an oscar, srk surely deserves
it more... As for which act of srk deserved an oscar, there
were more than a few - devdas, swades, paheli, etc. In a
positve role or in a -ve role for darr..

the first one to write a comment then you won't be posting
it to anyone...... So what's the big deal in that?
i don't have any problem in you talking about any topic,
but just don't spread lies about someone who is one of the
most love people in the entire world. If you do, then be
ready for some pretty hard backlash. You are lucky you said
it on this site, if you were at youtube, the you would have
really got a piece of my mind.
