Though our very own Miss India Universe, Simran Kaur Mundi wasn't to be seen, there wasn't a dearth of beauty at the Miss Universe Pageant 2008 held in Vietnam. Check out the stills from the event and the crowning of the Venezuelan beauty Dayana Mendoza. "When I go back to Venezuela I will jump on my family and they will jump on me," said the winner.

miss india didn't evn gt to the top 15.
the topmost one depends on how mny viewrs watch both contests. Miss universe is ownd by donald trump and miss world is ownd by a london resident.

i don't think thrs any major diffrnce between two contests, its an indivdiual group and in evry country they pick 3 winners to reprsnt at three contests and thts miss world, miss univrse, and miss earth.

Its alright.But they should have clearly mentioned dat how far could simran go in the grand finale! Moreover i dont understand which title is the topmost one- miss universe or miss world title.
