Koel Purie didn't choose to be a journalist in real life (like her dad Aroon Purie), but the profession doesn't seem to leave her alone! Koel plays a journalist in It's Breaking News, a film directed by Vishal Inamdar and produced by Shreyas Mhaskar.

The film explores sting operations and takes a close look at the ethics of journalism. Others in the cast include Atul Parchure, Harsh Chaya, Vinay Apte, Vandana Gupte, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Nandita Puri, Abhimanyu Singh, Swati Sen, Tanushree, Anita Wahi, Dhananjay Mandrekar, Vijay Patwardhan and Rahul Vohra.

Incidentally, Koel is also doing a film called Breaking News!
