MUST WATCH: Om Shanti Om on VCD

If you thought Om Shanti Om [Watch the trailer] was funny, chances are that you'll find the subtitles funnier. One isn't quite sure if the joke in this case is intended but then again what the hell?

Months after the release of 2007's biggest blockbuster film, Om Shanti Om, Eros has brought out a VCD of the film. And quite like the film itself, its home video is directed at the masses.

The only 'extra feature' in that sense are the English subtitles that run through the film… including the songs. If you have watched OSO in the theatres and want to watch it again, the thing to look out for is the ingenuity behind these subtitles. For those who have come in late, Om Shanti Om tells the story of Om Prakash Makhija, a junior artiste in the 70s who falls in love with the reigning star, Shantipriya.
