REVIEW: Chal Chala Chal
Govinda's huge library of unreleased, unfinished comedies just doesn't seem to go dry. So barely after we were done cheering his return to the big league with Partner, comes yet another delayed project to spoil the party.
Unlike most Govinda flicks which at best are poor copies of his No 1 series, Chal Chala Chal strangely resembles a Priyadarshan enterprise. The loud dialogues, rural setting and dozen odd supporting actors, remind you of Priyan's Hulchul. Maybe that's why the director has stepped in as the film's co-presenter.
Chal Chala Chal's plot is like a dated 80s' social drama with greedy siblings, scheming bhabhis, an old father and an ever suffering heroine with a sob-story of her own. The youngest son in the family is as usual the nice guy - who decides to pay off the creditors by starting his own transport service. How this story unfolds from here on is anyone's guess. Except one or two rib tickling sequences between Govinda and Rajpal Yadav this ride is a test of one's patience.
Abruptly chopped scenes, out of sync dubbing, jumpy audio tracks, are just some of the technical inconsistencies you will get for the price of a ticket. It seems even the makers forgot about post production and just released the raw unedited footage.
The Govinda library I referred to is not a total disaster. For hardcore fans of the actor who are bored watching reruns of Hero No 1 and Haseena Maan Jaayegi I recommend a film called Sandwich. Released a few years back the film vanished from the theatres in no time. But it keeps playing on the channels and is a laugh riot. Chal Chala Chal unfortunately is a torture even for the staunchest fans of Govinda's brand of comedy.
Nonetheless, it takes some guts to complete and release such a product to the ticket-paying audience.
Verdict: Avoid this bus ride at all costs.
Rating: 0.5/5 (Does anyone care?)

with boaring and useless dialogs.
the film is useless and without story .However govinda is
trying to create humor but that results in overacting.
overall film is totally dumb.
Movie is not so bad, its average, and also a decent one as
compare to the other nudity based bollywood movies. This is
a kind of movie you can see with your family.
