REVIEW: Just not Krazzy enough
First things first. Thank you Mr Rakesh Roshan for including Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan's promotional videos in Krazzy 4. The Break Free track helps the film 'break free' of its shoddy production values and dull screenplay. These videos are like a shot of adrenalin for both the film and the paying public. But this week's new release Krazzy 4 is a film made with noble intentions.
Who are the Krazzy 4?
Bollywood has suddenly taken a liking to mental disorders. If U Me Aur Hum deals with Alzheimers and Schizophrenia, the characters in Krazzy 4 suffer from a variety of personality disorders. The movie tells the story of four patients living in a mental asylum.
Raja (Arshad Warsi) can't seem to control his anger and gets violent at the smallest of provocation.
Dr Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan) is a man who is obsessed with cleanliness and goes about wiping any stain he spots – even Rakhi Sawant's tattoo. But it is never quite clear why this habit brings him to the asylum.
Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav) is a man who lives in 1947 and keeps looking for Mahatama Gandhi.
And finally there is Dabboo (Suresh Menon), who suffers from autism and opens his mouth only to eat.
What's so Krazzy about the film?
On Independence Day these four men get the chance to spend a day in the outside world and go watch a cricket match. But on the way to the stadium, their supervising doctor (Juhi Chawla) gets kidnapped. Stranded in Mumbai city, the four men set off on a mission to rescue their doctor. And in doing so they manage to expose an ugly scam involving top cops and politicians. They take the help of a television anchor (Dia Mirza) who turns out be Raja's sweetheart – That takes care of the film's romantic track as well. In the end these so called 'mad men' teach the society a lesson or two about honesty and integrity.

Your line in the review - "but here the entire film has
been shot between bandra and andheri and lacks the gloss
that one would expect from a roshan production."
it reminded me of ram gopal varma ki aag which was shot
between andheri and madh island!
these chaps nowadays are thinking global (in terms of
lifting hollywood plots) and acting local! Pheww!
Come on dear, everybody knows who is the greatest dancer of
bollywood, how can u say srk's item num is better than
hrithik. Watch the number of views and votes hrithik has
got for the item num. Even srk admits that! Be pragmatic!
As far i'm concerned, i really loved the item number of
hrithik, it adds more thrill to the movie.
Among the three item songs in the film krazzy 4, undoubtedly
the best one was that of king khan . It was the only good
thing that acted as a saviour for the two hour "no
sense "film. The style,aura and panache of king khan
in the entire song was no match to either a rakhi sawant
(nautanki) song or the "too much difficult and
complex" hrithik roshan song. Kudos for king khan.
