REVIEW: Khushboo stinks!
What can you say about a film like Khushboo? Take a bit of Jab We Met, DDLJ, A Walk in the Clouds, copy some dance choreography, some so-called funny lines and situations, copy some popular scenes and voila! You have an apology of a film from a noted filmmaker.
Rajesh Ram Singh is the director of the film, which introduces two newcomers, Rishi Rehan and Avantikka.
The movie opens with a success party for the hero Raghunathan 'Raghu' Aiyer (Rishi Rehan), by his company. The guy is on his way to New York. But a project in Chandigarh delays his posting by six months, which upsets him. But nevertheless, our dude goes to Chandigarh and fools around after work. That's when he bumps into and falls in love with a naughty Punjabi kudi, Pinky (Avantikka).
Pinky is student of photography (although it seems she's more fond of driving). She's prances around in miniskirts, parties, and drives her own Mahindra Classic around town, but her heart is in the heartlands of Punjab.
Raghu and Pinky keep bumping into each other, and get 'carried away' one night. It's a bit strange that a girl and a guy who are not out looking for an ONS (one-night stand, for the uninitiated) partner, don't tell each other their name or exchange numbers, but are sure to sleep with each other. And the girl, out of embarrassment just gets up and leaves.
