REVIEW: Main Aurr Mrs Khanna
Salman Khan is a good man. He stood by his brother Sohail forever. And finally, FINALLY, his efforts seem to be paying off. With Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Sohail Khan manages to negate all the silly cameos in disastrous productions (Hello, for example) he made his brother, Salman do for him.
Unexpected – is how I would describe this Salman-Kareena-Sohail starrer. I mean, what do you normally expect from a film with Sohail Khan in the lead? Silly jokes. Unrecognisable sounds/grunts. Corny dialogues. Sohail's overdone and so-not-funny antics. This film has it all. YES! But, despite all that, the film is good.
Well, maybe it's not as entertaining as Salman's last film Wanted, but Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, with Salman's 'extended special appearance' (whatever THAT means) is meaningful. Without being too pretentious or soppy, the film brings out some basic emotional problems that, if given a chance, Yash Chopra would have turned into a 3-hour musical saga! (Not that I don't like soppy or YRF)
For example, when Sohail sees Kareena for the first time, his friend asks whether it was 'love at first sight'? Sohail answers back saying, it wasn't. Because 'love' doesn't happen at first sight. It's probably 'lust' at first sight. But hey, hold on love might just follow. When you hear it for the first time, it sounds outright corny. More so because it was Sohail Khan saying it. But think back, and you'll realise how true it is.

Multiple movies released on diwali, congrats to all of them
for their faith in their product to release it amidst severe
competition. I have tremendous respect for those who respect
their work, i pick them anyday over those who are shaking in
their boots at the very mention of a healthy competition and
release movies only when the theaters are empty to then brag
about their hit status. A competition without a competitor
is like running a race on a track field all by yourself to
reward yourself the medal. Some actors/makers delay their
movies deliberately and postpone it to a safer and
superstitiously guaranteed dates. Their pandits and their
friends can watch such safe movies. Kudos to those who dare
to put up a fair fight for their hard work. They had the
option to delay but chose otherwise. All those back to back
movies that released post the strike deserve a round of
applause. Hit or flop happens but courage and true
conviction is a rare occasion in a dog eat dog industry

movie? You are not only sick but also disgusting. Take a
chill pill and shove it up yours.

best. He has always been humble of his fame.

venom/negativity when a star other than their favorite srk
is suddenly way too successful for them to even fathom. And
akshay is one such recent phenomenon. One flop or average
fare and the daggers are out to with surgical precision.

regardless of whether akshay is even mentioned or discussed
at all. I won't even bother to put sense into such negative
people with hidden agendas online. They reek of jealousy and
the show nothing but what narrow minded you are.

i think the reviews and public opinions of people about
blue have proved that i was right. You guys are right, i
don't understand akshay kumar's performance and as it turns
out neither do the 1 billion people in the entire country,
he is gone. Akshay kumar got some success and it went right
into his head. He is now reaping the results of his
arrogance.
akshay kumar is a flop star now. And this is a fact!

finally, a well written honest review of the movie main
aur mrs khanna. Two thumbs up for suranjana nandi. I watched
this movie today and i totally agree with this review as
well as the rating.
I have seen all three movies on this diwali..
blue: it has just 2-3 action scene.. And that too copied
from hollywood movies like bad boys, torque, fast and
furious etc... And actiona are not too good as
hollywoood...
full bakwass movie without proper storyline.. And abt
under
water sequence is for just 15 min... Better watch geo or
discovery channel!!!
all the best: just waste of money, hardly 5-6 comedy
scene... Forced jokes!!!!
