Twelve super sexy Priyankas. One Guinness book entry. One award winning director. And lots of publicity. Nothing can salvage this headache generator. Maybe the configuration of the stars was just not right!
So what's What's Your Rashee? all about?
Remember Mr Yogi on Doordarshan? Years back Mohan Gokhale had successfully lived this character on our telly screens - A NRI who comes to India to get married. And in each episode, Mr Yogi visits a different girl. Add a little bit of nonsensical, illogical twist of the Zodiac to this, and you'll get Gowariker's all new recipe for disaster – What's Your Rashee?
Harman (Hurman S.) Baweja plays Mr Yogesh Patel. He lives in Chicago. Studies MBA at the University, works part time at a firm and is a DJ by the night. His family lives in Mumbai. And when in trouble, they summon Yogesh back home.
Now Yogesh has to get married within 10 days. So, the boy decides to meet only 12 girls – one from each Rashee (Zodiac sign). Don't ask me why. Just go and get your hands on this book that Yogesh reads. Titled 'What's Your Rashee?' this book apparently preaches that women can be broadly categorised into 12 groups (the 12 zodiac signs). Impractical? Laughable? Wait! There's more!
So now Yogesh Patel, a seemingly normal and practical guy starts looking for a wife. And there's a story in every meeting. Filled with bittersweet emotions, every episode is meaningful. Some bring hope, some touch your heart and some are just plain funny or outrageous.

i just fall in your love
This movie was fantastic. It was a light comedy and very
well directed by ashutosh gowarikar. For the first time
(harman) the mba student was shown to be living in a normal
apartment in chicago and shown to have a normal life.
(compared to karan johar movies where normal ppl in usa live
in mansions).
the actors character is very well defined. He knows what
he wants in life and is very practical. When it comes to his
family problems he thinks openly and decides to dive into
marriage. He decides to meet 12 girls from different rashis.
i think the idea of taking priyanka in 12 different roles
is awesome. This removes the confounding factor that is
added by looks (if 12 different girls were used instead).
The viewer absorbs the character of priyanka in each role
than going at the looks.
priyanka has done an awesome job. The songs are great and
most of them are not longer than 2 minutes.
overall the movie is fun to watch and my advise to
everyone is that don't take the rashi part seriously. Its
just to show 12 different characters.
It is a wonderful movie. Harman and priyanka have acted
really well. Harman is 100 times better compared to imran. I
completely disagree with the critics. I think they should
stop writing about movies and start a 'praising club' for
those non-actors and cowards, who pay them to write bad
things about others. I request all indians not to believe in
critics or any kind of reviews from now onwards. Watch
'what's your rashee', it is a lovely movie.
Really fantastic movie...Must watch for people in search of
