Priyadarshan: They call him the hit machine, especially if it is comedy. Ever since Hera Pheri happened, the celebrated Malayalam director has found his comfort zone in slapstick comedies. Except an odd Kyon Ki, all his film are safe bets at the box office. His recent ventures like Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhagam Bhag did extraordinary business and helped Akshay Kumar reach the Numero Uno spot. His forthcoming projects include a satire with Akshaye Khanna and another one with a bunch of newcomers. And not to forget the producers who are queuing outside his doorsteps for another Akshay Kumar hit.

According to industry sources, Priyan charges Rs 12 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
