Shveta graduated from Sophia College in Mumbai and started her career as a model. She participated in the 1999 Gladrags Mega Model contest and though she did not go on to win, was noticed and roles began coming her way.

I think shveta salve has proved through this shoot for maxim magazine that she is the next upcoming international model and i am sure this will help her to place her on the international platform.
