Abhi patches up with Abbas-Mustan

Last we heard the director duo had refused to direct a film for his dad

Well, in case you all have forgotten let me refresh your memory about this Abbas-Mustan, Abhishek Bachchan fight. Long long time ago, one day the Junior Bachchan abandoned the director duo at the last minute during the making of a film. Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol were supposed to be his co-stars.

The cold war that followed saw Abbas-Mustan reportedly refusing to direct a film for Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan's home production. And since then the men in white have strictly maintained their distance from the Lady Ash's husband. They have so far never worked on a film together.

But guess what I heard recently... A little birdie told me that the Abbas-Mustan and Mr Bachchan Jr have finally buried the hatchet and are all set to work on a new project together.

What's more, the film is supposed to be an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster The Italian Job. The filmmakers have got the rights transferred and have made the appropriate changes to please the Indian audiences. Even Abhay Deol maybe a part of the film as the secong lead.

Well, with so many fights in Bollytown, it's rather nice to hear of people patching up. And if that makes for a good film... well, Juicy Mausi doesn't mind at all!
