The latest victim of the strained Indo-Pak relations is not a Pakistani. I am told Amrita Rao lost out on the Walls ice cream commercial because of 26/11.

Sounds unrealistic? Here's the story: Few months ago Amrita starred alongside Farhan Saeed, the singer from the Pakistani band Jal in the commercial and a music video.

However now with the diplomatic ties between the two countries going for a toss, Saeed is finding little support this side of the border.

I'm told, with Saeed out of the picture Amrita was also given the boot and in came Shruti Hassan.

Shruti will star alongside Raghav Sachar, the man who composed music for Kabul Express and One Two Three among other films.

I'm not sure how Amrita has taken this news. But Shruti, the rising star could well do with some dollops of ice cream on her way up!
