SRK steps on Big B's toes again?
There have been consistent rumours about Shah Rukh Khan wanting to star in the remake of the alltime Bachchan classic Deewar. For a long time now, the industry has been abuzz with reports of King Khan supposedly approaching Yash Chopra (the director of the original) with the idea. And he is urging the veteran to direct the remake as well. But now, apparently, SRK has also lined up a stellar cast for the same.
Sources say he has proposed Saif and Kareena's name for Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's roles respectively and Boman Irani's name for the character Iftekhar played. Shefali Shah who did a pretty good job playing the eternal suffering mother in Gandhi My Father will step into Nirupa Roy's tattered chappals.
The actress for Parveen Babi's role is yet to be finalised. However I am given to believe that Priyanka Chopra may just bag the role. Needless to say, Shah Rukh will play Amitabh Bachchan... and chances are that he'll probably have a fitting response to, "Mere paas maa hai!"

This jaz is saying that big b copied dilip kumar.That is the
biggest joke ever.Dilip only cried in movies.He never did
anything other than tragic roles.Big b has acted in
different type of roles.Shah rukh is all hype.Shah rukh is
too diplomatic.He always flatters the journalists to be in
their good books.He is not a great actor.He is friends with
all the right people to keep him in news.Thumbs down shah

Gaurav,if you want to compare big b's salary with
shahrukh at present,also compare what your father was
getting in 1970 and what you are getting now.His longevity
speaks for itself.None of the actors of his generation are
being even mentioned today.Him being compared to the present
superstar is a credit to him.Shah rukh can never match him
in acting,that why he feels the need to act in copycat
movies.Being friends with politicians does not make you a
bad actor.In that sense shah rukh is the worst ever actor.He
is friends with a whole host of politicians.Gandhi
family,maharastrian politicians like deshmukh,you can go
on.Big b is the best ever.
This comparison is a gimmick created by the media to create
news. It makes no sense. Srk might have a lot of fan base
from a specific community & also female fans of the
current generation due to his lover boy image from yrf &
karan johar films. He might be the bollywood star for the
current generation, but as an actor he cant even match most
of the present star actors who are just plain average. Just
being charismatic, or in this case making stupid faces &
noises make an actor.
mr. Bachchan is not only a legend & mega superstar but
is also one of the great actors not only in bollywood but in
the history of indian cinema. Period.
some of our indian actors especially mr. Bachchan for
example have the potential to match the greatest actors in
the history of world cinema

of proportion and the politicians (congress) need him to
combat ab in up so keep adding fuel to his publicity.

i recently got to know the amount of hype he is given at
the conclave where he started to talk abt nuclear deal . Ohh
god help him nachne gane wale will advice us learned people
of this country on current affairs. I hope someone has got
his feet to floor and let him khow to do his work and thats
acting not advicing or commenting on issues not meant for
your thought.
Either mausi has become too old or he genuinely see
everything with a bias...........Where were u when amitabh
was totally written off......Nywayz shahrukh is shahrukh and
there is no comparison for him too. He is more human then so
called amitabh..........He doesn't need to get into politics
and have friends like amar singh to bail him out every time
so stop praising amitabh more than he deserves. He is taking
10% of total fee what shahrukh is taking and i think that
says it all.............
Sharukh u can never match ab's talent. More thn tht u cn nvr
match his humanity. Stop being a copy cat rather follow his
footsteps genuily.
It would be interesting to see yash chopra's reaction
to this proposal (if there is any :d )... On the one hand
he has his eternal classic and on the other hand he has an
awesome starcast of today and an audience which is probably
receptive to the idea of remakes (post 'don' ). If
they can modify the script and put in stellar performances,
i am sure people would like it. Atleast i would.
