This tale of romance is set during the pre-British times in Central India. Sumer and Sunaina are very close during their childhood. They belong to the Devgadh and Dharamgadh dynasties that share a common boundary. The families are very close and encourage the young ones to get close as they plan to get them married in the far future.

But things turn nasty, especially for the young lovers as the two families are torn apart by hatred. They become sworn enemies and Sumer and Sunaina are not allowed to see each other.

There is a lone temple of Lord Shiva on the common boundary line of the two dynasties. There lives Jogan Mastani, who is a witness to the love of Sumer and Sunaina and to the relationship falling apart between the families. She takes it upon herself to bring the lovers together.

And God bows down to her prayers as the lovers meet once again 14 years later. What happens when Sumer and Sunaina come face to face? Can they recognise each other? Or do they meet as strangers? Tune in to SaharaOne to find out.
